NETWORK OF NATIONS
Intercultural Café – April 29, 2022
Kishwaukee Bible Church serves in partnership with 12+ other churches in the ministry of Network of Nations among the international community at NIU. The Friday night Intercultural Café is sponsored by a different church each week, providing an opportunity to show the love of Christ to international students
who are eager to make new friends with Americans. What better way to welcome the sojourner in our midst than with the love of Christ through the generous hands of God’s people?
3 Ways to Volunteer:
- Provide a large meal or pot of soup serving approximately 10 people. Half the students are vegetarian, so the menu need not be expensive and will be balanced. Even if you are able to cook and not join us, arrangements can be made for pick up and drop off and would be appreciated. We need a total of 15 large meals.
- Bake desserts of any kind!
- Simply join the dinner – on any Friday! – and engage with international students in conversation and friendship. Make a friend and invite them to church or your home for a meal or to join a holiday celebration
