Pursue the Intentional Life by Jean Flemming
(Registration is now closed)
For our Spring Study, we will be digging into a book called “Pursue the Intentional Life” by Jean Fleming. This book was written to help us discover how God’s promises and instructions contain just what we need to face the unknown days ahead. It will encourage us to live meaningfully and intentionally in the present while preparing well for the future. And it will call us to live a life of faith and hope in a broken world by keeping the eyes of our hearts fixed on eternity with Jesus. Come join us as we grow together!
For more information on the book and why we chose it, check out this brief video:
Our Spring Study will meet for 8 weeks, starting the week of March 14 and ending in the first week of May.
We have three group options:
- Monday night 7pm online over Zoom
- Monday night 7pm in-person (no restrictions)
- Wednesday night 7pm in-person (masks required and social distancing practiced)
(For those who participated in the winter study, you will likely be assigned to the same group unless you request a change)
Each week, you will be emailed a short video to orient you to that week’s chapters. The reading for each week should take about 30 minutes (depending on how quickly you read). Each week we will also have a key verse or passage for you to meditate on or memorize, if desired. (Note: For this session we won’t be doing a “one-to-one-style” discussion of the verse, but one of the discussion questions each week will focus on how the verses connect to the chapters for the week.) The email will also include discussion questions for the week.
If you have questions about registration or obtaining a book, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions about the study can be directed to Amber Hudson at email@example.com or 815.757.2425. Jill Mosher, Jeanette McNicol, or Anna Anderson should also be able to help!
