Through our Scriptures & Sisters series last winter/spring, we sought to explore God’s heart on a variety of topics that impact the lives of KBC women. We only had time to skim the surface of each topic, so this year we hope to take a deeper dive into a few of them. Through our winter and spring book clubs, we hope to discover together more of what God has to say about relationships and sexuality. Our times together will involve discussion of the book and related Scriptures, sharing of both burdens and blessings with each other, and prayer. Scripture memory will also be an encouraged (but optional) component of the book clubs. We hope to create a space that will invite meaningful connection with God and with each other.
Winter book club:
In the winter, we’ll dive into how to have more intentional, gospel-focused relationships both inside and outside the church as we explore biblical hospitality. We will read and discuss the book: “Just Open the Door: How One Invitation Can Change a Generation” by Jen Schmidt.
We will meet Mondays 7-9 pm January 20-February 24 at the church office .
However, if you’d like to connect with others around this topic and this book, but aren’t available on Monday nights, you will have the option of requesting to be “matched” with those who also need an alternate option. We will do our best to accommodate these requests if possible.
