Jesse and his wife Catherine came to Kishwaukee Bible Church in August of 2017. Mike has been attending Kishwaukee Bible Church since 2004 and met his wife, Kristine, at KBC in 2006 before getting married in 2010. Together, they have served on youth group staff together, music team, home group ministry, and Sunday school ministry, among others. Mike became an elder in 2018.
Jeff has been a part of Kishwaukee Bible Church since its founding in September of 1993 and been a part of the local community since 1987. Jeff joined the elder board in 2016, as well as serving in a wide variety of church ministries, including youth group, home-group, and Sunday school. Jim has been a committed member of Kishwaukee Bible Church since moving to the DeKalb area from California in 2005, he joined the elder board in 2017. He has also served as a Sunday school teacher, VBS, and been involved in the Czech Republic missions team. Jim and his wife Jeanette enjoy partnering in ministry as way to display God’s love to those around them.
Ted is returning to the Elder board after a year sabbatical. He and his wife Dawn are long time members of Kishwaukee Bible Church. They serve together as Sunday School teachers, hosting and leading home-group, and have been involved with our VBS programs over the years.
Steve joined the Kishwaukee Bible Church deacon board in 2017. He and his wife Sandy have been attending Kishwaukee Bible Church since 2004, they have two daughters Charlotte and Rebekah. Steve was born and raised in DeKalb and is currently the Facilities Manager at Ideal Industries in Sycamore. He also served on the pastoral transition team, as an offering counter, and on the worship set-up team.
Jim loves Jesus and His church. He joined the deacon board in 2017. He and his wife Susan, and their three children live in Sycamore and have worshiped at KBC since returning to the area in 2012. They know that real life gets tough and desire to be disciples who encourage the need for real community in the blessings and challenges. Jim has been an active part of the Youth Group (Propel), and our Canada mission team.
Ben and his wife Suzie have been a committed part of Kishwaukee Bible Church since 1997. They have four children, Elizabeth, Timothy, Matthew, and Jacob. Ben joined the Deacon board in 2017 and has also served in many other areas including; Sunday school teacher, usher, worship service setup, building cleaning and maintenance.
